The Chinese Government has expressed confidence in the relationship that exists between Nigeria and China, especially in the areas of Industry,Trade and Investment
Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Zhou Ping Jian stated this during an interview on the sidelines of his visit to the University of Calabar, where the Ambassador celebrated the 47thanniversary of Nigeria/China relations.
Jian said the Chinese government has full confidence in the relationship that exists between the two most populous countries in Africa and Asia. He said Nigeria will benefit maximally from the forthcoming Africa /China summit in Beinjing in the second quarter of the year, where issues affecting Africa and China will be discussed.
AIT's Rasheed Olanrewaju reports that during the summit in Beijing, Nigeria and China hope to deepen their partnership to bring about more benefits to the people of both countries in the areas of infrastructural development, industrialization, production capacity, and agriculture.
